Exporting Scalar Values from Meshes
If required, you can export the scalar values contained in a selected scalar mesh to a comma-separated values file (*.csv extension).
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Export Scalar Values button in the Scalar information box on the Data Properties and Settings panel.
- Right-click the required scalar mesh in the Data Properties and Settings panel and then choose Export Scalar Values in the pop-up menu.
In this case, you will also be able to export the X, Y, and Z axis coordinates for each vertex along with the corresponding scalar values(s).
The Choose Scalar Value Slots to Export dialog appears
- Do the following, as required:
- Choose the scalar value slots you want to export in the Slots drop-down menu.

- Check the Select all scalar values option to export all scalar value slots.

- Check the Export with coordinates option to export the X-axis, Y-axis, ad Z-axis coordinates for each vertex along with the corresponding scalar value(s).

Note This option is only available when exporting scalar values from the pop-up menu item.
- Choose the scalar value slots you want to export in the Slots drop-down menu.
- Click OK.
- Choose a location and file name in the Select a File to Export in CSV dialog and then click Save.
